Dr. N Subramanian

Dr. N. Subramanian (known as Dr.Subbu among the Pharma industry peers) has about two decades of rich and vast experience in Research and Development. He holds Doctorate in Pharmacy from M.S. University of Baroda. Prior to joining Caplin, he was spearheading various leadership positions at Mylan, Agila Specialities Limited (Strides Company), and Sun Pharma Advanced Research Company Limited. He has a keen interest in developing sterile formulations including Injections and Ophthalmics. He was heading various successful programs of developing and commercialization of injectables and Ophthalmics comprising of Liquids, Lyophilized products, Emulsions, Nano emulsions, Suspensions, Nano suspensions, liposomes and various Platform technology products. He has experience in various type of molecules, which includes Small molecules, Peptides, Cephalosporins, Penems, low molecular weight Heparins. He also carries rich experience in Oncology product development.  He has worked on developing dossiers for Global markets which includes India, US, EU, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South America, Brazil, and ROW markets. Dr.Subbu is well known in the industry for his scientific contribution through various lectures and Seminars. He has good number of patents and research articles to his credit. Currently he is responsible for the development and successful commercialization of Finished Dosage Form – R&D at Caplin Steriles Limited.
